All photographs begin with light. It doesn't matter if it comes from a substation downtown or from the heavens above. We will learn how to see, shape, and direct light into simply beautiful images. This will be a fun and fast paced learning environment, with a heavy emphasis placed on recognizing, understanding, and controlling light.

Welcome to the Northern California Photography Group. We are a bunch of enthusiastic photographers that like to go out and shoot all sorts of interesting places. Whether it is some local event, an interesting place or grand scenic location, we always have fun going out and enjoying ourselves. We also do workshops, providing an opportunity to learn more about things like High Dynamic Range photography or how to use Lightroom in our workflow. All are welcome, no matter your level of expertise.

Capitol City Shooters is a new group designed for PHOTOGRAPHERS OF ALL LEVELS, from beginner to advanced. WE ALSO WELCOME MODELS AND MAKEUP ARTISTS LOOKING TO BUILD OR EXPAND THEIR PORTFOLIO.
